Israel's Story
Life
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in mechanical engineering in May 1997, I married but am now divorced. Lived in Houston where I worked as a consulting engineer at Shah, Smith and Associates for 4 years. As the only spanish speaker in the firm, I was the liason for technical and commercial issues for our dealers and clients in Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela and the rest of South America. I try to go back to Mission to see my family as frequently as I can. Usually, Christmas proves to be the best time to do this. I obtained my law degree at the University of Houston Law Center on a part-time basis and am now a licensed attorney.
